The final Welsh grand prix event starts again on Saturday 15th January 2011 at Potters Bar, Cardiff. Event 4 was won by Ryan John who now leads the rankings and looks, favourite to finish in the number one spot for the season.
Entries are now being taken and an entry form can be printed off on the home page of wpa8ball.com. The draw will take place on 8th January and posted on the website for all to view.
If you wish to enter prior to each event then you can do so at a cost of £40 for existing tour players, or £30 for new tour players.
There will be a forum on wpa8ball.com to register your name.

The new joint committee to oversee pool in Wales is proud to announce the first series of qualifying events for the New World rules Welsh team going to Blackpool in June 2011 and a chance to be seen on Sky Sports. These events will also establish the squad for the World Rules team throughout 2011/2012.
The event dates have been chosen, so as to not clash with any other events in Wales, and no players will be seeded throughout the first year, therefore giving an open draw for every event.

Tour no:2 Saturday - January 15th 2011 Pool World, Neath.
Tour no:3 Saturday March 5th 2011 Regional weekend venue TBC.

Tour no:5 Saturday May 21st 2011 Potters, Cardiff.

The fourth event of the Pool Federation of Wales Tour, hosted at Lyons Robin Hood Holiday Park Rhyl took place over the weekend. As usual there were plenty of surprise results throughout the event which features some of the top 8Ball players in the world.
Congratulations to Ryan John who beat Wayne Smith 8 4 in the final after coming through what was an incredibly difficult section of the draw, with victories against Colin Anderson 7 6, Jamie Moray 7 3, and then three back to back Welsh Internationals Simon Ward 7 5, Ben Davies 8 - 4 and Wayne Smith in the final 8 4.
The 2010 Welsh grand prix starts again on Saturday 30th October 2010 at Lyons Robin Hood Holiday Park, Rhyl, North Wales. Event 3 was won by Phil Hoskins of Cardiff. The PFW will also be holding the North Wales Open on Sunday 31st October, details to follow.
